In the historic center of Piombino (which deserves a stay of a few days to discover the very interesting places and surroundings). For the ZTL there is no problem because the number plate is reported to the police. Parking under the hotel, internal otherwise on a very quiet street (we left the car with some luggage on sight). The hotel has its own history but it has been recently renovated maintaining some "vintage" aesthetic characteristics but updating the functional ones (comfortable and clean bathrooms, updated electrical system, air conditioning). The rooms are quiet and very clean, towels changed daily (in my opinion too much, I would adopt a more ecological management based on the customer's request for change). Wi-fi is available, the reception is basic and there is a drinks dispenser and a coffee machine. For breakfast they have agreements with two excellent bar-pastry shops nearby, but the service is about to be provided directly on site. We were two couples and we were all very happy with the service. I would certainly also recommend it as a base for a short break in the area, where there are many interesting places and beaches to see.

Very central hotel, in the ZTL, easily accessible and very well organized for parking; they have about ten reserved spaces in the ZTL but with the pass they issue and the communication of the license plate at the reception, it will be possible to park for free in the immediate vicinity. Say you need the parking space when booking, or by calling before arrival, and you will be given all the necessary information. Decent, clean and quiet rooms, in a slightly dated but carefully cared for building. Very good breakfast, said by one who hates pre-cooked croissants and cappuccino from the drinks machine. If you have not yet visited Piombino, a charming town with its enchanting Piazza Bovio (amazing terrace overlooking the Tuscan archipelago), Corso Italia with its beautiful shops and numerous fish restaurants, go there even out of season: it is romantic and "tailored to 'man', not at all built for tourism. From the feline colony of castle cats to its "steel" story, it will win you over. My boyfriend and I stayed 1 night at this hotel a few days ago and we really enjoyed it. The structure is family-run, in the center of Piombino, with the possibility of parking for free in the restricted traffic area. The owners are very kind, we were welcomed with so much care that it seemed to be at home. We will definitely be back, also because it is an excellent base for the beaches of Torre Mozza, Follonica and San Vincenzo.

I returned to this hotel for 3 years in the period of May/June! I had to take exams in a school there in Piombino and I've always chosen him for the welcome, cordiality and sympathy of the owners... I haven't been back there for two years and I must say that I miss spending a week there a year... I can't wait to go back, even if just for one night, and to take another trip to Piombino also because the location is strategic: in the historic centre, 2 minutes from the sea! I have so many happy memories here! :)

We stayed at this property for one night before embarking for the island of Elba. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the room was large and clean; a garage is available 10 meters from the entrance. The hotel is located in the center, a few meters away are shops and restaurants and in five minutes you can easily reach the port. We will definitely keep this in mind for any future trips to that area.
